Broken Souls is my most recent published book and I got that idea from my husband and his former platoon. A lot of my military themed books I pulled experiences from his former platoon members.

Music. I've always used music to inspire me. I actually have a playlist for each book I write. It's what keeps me going.

A few things! I'm currently working on my piece for The Curse Anthology. The piece is actually a prequel for my large upcoming series, Midnight Defenders.

That it's common to want to quit, but don't. I know a lot of people say, "Don't give up." or "Keep following your dream."

Creating worlds. Growing up I loved reading books, but I always had that thought "I would have liked it better if..." So that got me started in writing.
But I love creating worlds, I love that people get the chance to see those worlds.

Sometimes I read through old work, or I find music that has given me inspiration before. Other times I just let it take it's course. Most of my writer's block doesn't last for more than a week. If it starts to go over a week I find a prompt I can write to and I go off of that.
