I'm currently editing book three of The Navarre Chronicles and drafting book 4! I also have a few other side projects in the works, some spin-offs to my main series and others completely new ideas. ;)

I think I have to say watching my characters grow. Especially since book one started as something so close to my heart (not that the whole series isn't, but the first drafts of Awakening Shadows were definitely personal in a lot of ways) watching them blossom throughout the series is something that's definitely been rewarding! But also, the world building. I actually just re-watched Lord of the Rings (again) this week, which is one of Navarre's biggest inspirations for world building, and it reminded me of why I love creating magic all over again. <3

I really want to read more self-published books!! But I also have a lot of others as well, like Six of Crows and The Lunar Chronicles (basically the tbr is never ending XD)
