As a middle eastern lesbian, I have never seen myself or my ethnic community represented in LGBTQ fiction. Or anywhere, really. The best thing for me is being able to create content that I hope people can connect and relate to, and for some, can see themselves represented.

I have a very active imagination, so before I ever sit down to write anything i've already pictured it all in my head. I'm usually inspired by what's happening in my day to day life. I see a benign interaction, and my imagination takes off as to what that COULD be, and off my story goes.
