I'm currently in the very early planning stages of my third novel. I'd like to play around with a narrative voiced from different characters' perspectives at various points. It's a contemporary story of a woman who notices something very odd in her parents' house and subsequently discovers a daunting secret. Meanwhile, she's also living with secrets of her own that only the reader is privy to.

I've always been fascinated with the paranormal and hearing people's inexplicable ghostly encounters. One night, years ago, I was thinking about the idea of ghosts and the way we always seem to assume that they must be the spirits of those who have died. But I wondered - what if they weren't from the past, but from the future. Maybe they're glimpses of people who've come back to watch us. From there, I began planning and eking out the idea into a story of historians in the future whose job is to travel back to visit important events and people in the past.
