Listen to criticism, but if it makes no sense to you ignore it. Don't write with any goal in mind but getting it done and polished until you are proud to bursting. If all you want out of life is to be published/famous/rich, you're missing the point, and you'll never be satisfied. I've seen it happen.

No panty hose. No commute. My time is my own. I could be both a stay-at-home mom and a career woman. Do you hate me yet? There are bad bits too. Like when the words could have been written better by a dead person.
