I jot various ideas and things I would like to happen. Just random things. Then I think, how do I get my characters to 'that' point or place. Once I see 'where to go', the 'how to get there' usually comes.

I have always loved stories. Stories from everywhere. The best part of being a writer is that I get to create a story. I get to live it as I write. To me, that is amazing!

I started a book years ago. I let a few friends and family read the unfinished manuscript. All said it was amazing. But I think for me it wasn't time. I still had barriers in my own life to conquer. When getting ready to write this time, I researched to the point that I didn't know what to do. So I say, do your research, but the most important thing is just write. There are ways now to do it inexpensively. So just take a few minutes a day and write.

Book#2 of The Redemption Series - The Water. As much as I loved Book#1, this one has my heart. These characters are so real to me that I hurt with them, laugh with them, and cry with them while I write. I can't wait to get this book out!

But in it all, I gained different perspectives and learned valuable lessons the hard way. When I write, I often write from the perspective of the messes we can and do get into, but there is hope.
