Hi Evie! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful stories with us! I was wondering where the inspiration for Lucie and Tristan's characters came from for you? I heard a podcast where you mentioned that Annabelle and Sebastian started out as voices arguing politics in your head, and I'd love to know anything you're willing to share about the origin story of this second unique pairing. :)
Evie Dunmore Hi, thank you for your interest in Lucie and Tristan. I'm afraid I can't pin-point their beginnings all that well; Tristan suddenly showed up at the ball in DUKE. In my mind, a woman as over-worked and linearly operating like Lucie needed a playful, fluid counterpart who was still capable of great introspection. And so Tristan's character was born. Best, Evie

What was your inspiration for "Bringing Down the Duke"?
Evie Dunmore Hi Anisha! To tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure. I was reading a lot of romance at the time and one day, I just heard Annabelle and Sebastian argue about politics. They wouldn't go away, so I wrote their story!

Hello Evie, I absolutely devoured Bringing Down the Duke and loved it so much I even bought a physical copy so that I can look at it on my bookshelf. I’m so excited for the next book, and was just wondering if Annabelle and Sebastian will be making an appearance ? Thanks :)
Evie Dunmore Hi Sarah, thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed BDTD so much. Annabelle is part of the suffrage squad, so she definitely makes an appearance in A ROGUE OF ONE'S OWN. Sebastian has some screen time, too.

Warm Greetings to you, Comments on your first book. So well written. Compelled me to keep on reading. Very strong story line . The context is very relevant. The story has a good flow and the dialogues are magical. It has been a very long time since I read a book that was way beyond worth reading. It has all the right elements to make it ( for me the best book of this year). I hope you do not lose the magic?

Hi Evie! I want to tell you that I loved your first book: there is nothing better for a historical romance than heroines fighting for their rights. Do you know when Lucie and Tristan's book will be published?
Evie Dunmore Thanks for getting in touch, I'm glad you enjoyed the book! Lucie & Tristan are currently scheduled for September 1st, 2020 - that said, sometimes, pub dates are moved.

Are all four ladies going to get their own story? Annabelle got hers. The next is Lucie. What about Hattie and Catriona? I hope so.

Thanks for getting in touch! Three books have been contracted for the series, and Hattie is going to be the heroine of Book III. I would love to give Catriona her HEA, too, so we will see.

UPDATE: Catriona's book has been confirmed - it is currently scheduled for 2022!
