Two things inspire me to write. First, seeing the story that’s been bouncing around in my head come together on the screen in front of me. Second, and the think that keeps me going, is the feedback from my readers.

Just write it and get the story on paper or your computer screen. Even if it isn’t perfect at first, the rest can always be fixed later. The only bad story is one that hasn’t been written.

I walk away from what I’m working on until my head clears. The solution to the block usually presents itself to me after a while. Sometimes a long while.

The concept for ‘Written Into Love’ actually came from a dream. When I woke up, the dream was still fresh in my memory. I went straight to my computer and started drafting the initial plot summary.
