Megha Upadhyaya When I write something, I submit it to people I trust. I ask them to only tell me what they love about it because that's all I want to hear at that point. I'm fragile, not ready for it to be evaluated. This makes me excited, inspired to go back & write more of it.
Megha Upadhyaya Express your unique perspective with a feeling & originality. Being a writer is not about having a huge vocabulary or getting published. So, write something good and feel good about it :)
Megha Upadhyaya I can't imagine not writing! Everyone - bloggers, readers & other writers make this job quite special. So yes, there's excitement. Also, getting positive feedback from people who enjoy my book gives a real boost! The feeling of seeing my book on reader's shelves alongside other authors' never gets old.
Megha Upadhyaya I don't try out the most creative solutions to writer's block but yeah, going for a walk like to change my environment or listening to music helps me through it. I'd just say that don't overcome writer's block by procrastinating or making excuses.
Megha Upadhyaya This summer I'm digging my interest in a variety of genre like Philosophical fiction (The Plague), Self-help (Attitude is Everything), Civilization Technology (21 Lessons in 21st Century), Psychological Essays (Modern Man in Search of Soul) and more..
Megha Upadhyaya Toughie! I can't just pick one. There are so so many fictional characters I'd like to meet. I think I narrow them down to Westeros, Hogwarts, Wonderland and Neverland!
