Self-care is my first response to writer's block. Hot baths, Korean face masks, and sugar scrub.
Stepping away to do all those lovelies I avoid--like housework--until my mind calls me back works to. It's amazing how ideas begin to flow when one is working. Physically.
Laundry, dusting, pulling weeds. The last one really works.
Dialogue and conflicts of all kinds pop into my head. (Or maybe its my body's way of getting me to get back into my chair. LoL. :^)

Where did I get the idea for a husband and wife second-chance romance? Real life. Having been married for 33+ years, I'm aware of the strain family--and an infertile lack thereof--can place on a marriage. On a romance.
Island time with a Greek Billionaire? FANTASY. No getting around it. And yet with families ties to that community, I'm also aware of the mixed blessing of all the love that comes with caring THAT much.
