I haven't read one of your novels yet, but the comments are almost all excellent. Still the comments seem to all be focused on the mystery etc. aspect. What I am wondering is do your novels have any scripture, and/or application of solid Bible truths? etc. I wouldn't bother the author for this information, but I have been combing thru the comments and have yet to find one about the Christian part Thank you

P.D. Atkerson That's a great question!

I'm a Christian, and I try to show that in my writing. I do have Biblical truths and Christian themes in them, but I also try not to be too preachy with my stories, and those aspects of the books aren't the focal point.

Who's your favorite character you made in SLU history?

P.D. Atkerson How am I even supposed to answer that?! That's like having to choose who your favorite child is, but... I'd have to say it's a tossup between Lee and Lever. Though I still love Gregory, and all my other characters. ;)

Where did you come up with the idea for the character/series, Simon Lee?

P.D. Atkerson That's actually really hard to say. Part of it probably came from watching a couple of spy/thief tv shows, and it's hard to find clean spy books. Without giving anything away though, I'd have to say it all started around a certain relationship in the book. It grew from there. :)

What is your favorite of your own books? I will start with that one! I am an author committed to writing clean books for grades 4-8 (but high-schoolers and adults enjoy too!) What’s the best thing about being a writer?

P.D. Atkerson That would probably be the different worlds you get to build. There are no limits, especially in fantasy writing.
