I love writing, always have. I worked as a journalist for many years. A book is a totally different story though. It's a beast, and one that almost defeated me. But I persevered and voila, we have a book!

I got the idea for this book from my own life. I remember sitting in the bathtub one day and the thought struck me, "Why didn't any of this come with a training manual?" By any of this, I mean my life as a mom, wife and homemaker. I felt adequately prepared for the professional world. But when it came to everything else, I felt like I had a major learning curve. So...I thought, well maybe I'll make one.
