Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

M.J. Grace Tinderella is a modern retelling of one of my favorite fairy tales, Cinderella, with a dose of humor provided by a very sassy narrator. And when I say modern, I mean it. A fierce, loyal, smart, but incredibly clumsy heroine finds her true love with one of the good guys. Even when this story is a romantic comedy, I wanted to create something really different and relevant to our times. A relatable hero with a strong personality but who falls in love with every single aspect of our heroine without trying to change her. For me, that was really important. We are imperfectly perfect just the way we are.
