Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Elijah Shaw While there are several excellent books on traditional Executive -- meaning "corporate" Protection, there really wasn't a book that focused on the unique world of working with celebrities. That's a whole different ball game and one size does not fit all.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Elijah Shaw I step away from the project and look for inspiration from alternative media. I tend to think visually, so watching a good film inspired me to take a different approach to the topic I was getting stuck on.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Elijah Shaw Finishing the book! It's pretty surreal to see the thought in your head now on paper in three dimensions.
