Oh....I love Ireland and wish I could live there all year round. But since I can't, I decided to do what I love (write) and set some of the stories in the place that I love (Ireland). I also clipped an interesting article from the New York Daily News several years ago about stereotypes and how we misjudge people. This is one of the underlying themes in the book.

I've just finished the first draft of the second Star O'Brien mystery. So, I'm beginning my initial editing before turning it over to an editor and some beta readers. I'm also beginning to write my notes for the third mystery in the series.

I've been writing all my life, in school and for business. Now that I'm an indie writer, I getting to do what I've always loved. I've always loved to read mysteries and now I get to write them. I'm looking forward to hearing from readers about the characters in my book.

I don't think I've had writer's block. What I do get sometimes are lots of interruptions from my partner, Bill, and our puppy, Turlough. I usually handle that by going scheduling writing time at my local library.
