When I was young, my dad bought my mom a mother's ring. One day, she was sitting at the kitchen table somewhat playing with it and it fell off of her finger, onto to the floor. We didn't hear it fall into the floor register but never found it. It was lost forever and soon after so was she.

Luckily, I haven't encountered total writer's block yet. If I do get stuck on a new paragraph or page, I walk away and workout, take a walk, or clean. Words, phases, or ideas will pop into my mind bringing me back into the story.

Writing relaxes me. I also love to read because it offers an escape from my hectic life, and I hope my stories do the same for the lovely readers who choose to read them.

My editor has book two of the Inspiration in Cologne series. As she performs her magic I'm writing book three, listening to webinars on marketing, and at the moment, I'm determined to understand the ins and outs of Goodreads! :)

Inspiration comes easy for me. I take in the world around me and think of the countless stories that are waiting to be written. My entire being has endless energy, and the only time I feel truly relaxed is when I'm writing or reading.

I've always had many passions and dreams. When I mind mapped Daring Dreamer I included a few of them. I also felt the need to write about my mom's illness as an emotional outlet. My vivid imagination took over from there and my story came to life.
