Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Willow Thomson I wanted to write a science fiction book I would like to read. Something with a female main character, themes about how there still is magic in real life, how nature is key, how we all struggle and how we heal. I love an ensemble cast of quirky characters in a small community. Kind of Hart of Dixie in space!

What are you currently working on?
Willow Thomson I am working on a short memoir about growing up with an alcoholic father. Also mulling over the next book in the Aride Universe.
