I do plan to give her one, though it may only be a novella. If it is I’ll likely offer it free in my newsletter before it’s published anywhere. I don’t think I’ll get to it this year but it is on my list.

I don't think there are any real mysteries in my life. It's been pretty straight-forward, cause and effect. Even though I write romance and a lot of the characters have traits from myself or my husband, I wouldn't say any of them are based on something in real life. They're fantasy, an escape for both me and the reader.

This is a hard one. Probably to Pern so I can be a dragon rider

Oh my. I have a letter from the wonderful Ann MacCaffery, after I read her books in Jr. High I wrote her and told her I wanted to be a writer. She answered me back. I'd forgotten about that, forgotten that I was actually writing now. I wasn't a big reader until I picked up Dragon Song, and then, since it was a series, had to read them all. Lessa was my favorite character, by far. I read her story over and over. And Moretta's story up set me so much that I cried for a week. Or something like that.

I remember both Lessa and Moretta, that’s how you know they’re good when you remember the characters 20 years later. I think I began with Dragonsong too... I can’t remember. My favorite was The White Dragon. I also really liked Freedom’s Landing and the rest of that series. I felt so naughty reading a book that eluded to the characters having sex! Lol I guess I can blame The Legion Omegas series on her influence.

The toddler found the sharpies and now I can’t find her. Quiet giggles can be heard, but she’s not coming when she’s called

Finishing LV Lane’s Controller Series. Ophelia Bell has a new branch off of one of her series’ I need to read plus any new Omegaverse that comes out, I just have less time to read now that I’m writing

I was laying in bed trying to sleep and the first few lines of the story popped in my head. I wrote them the next day, came up with a vague idea of a story and a title, I wrote a couple chapters and made the cover, then kind of ignored it. I ended up discussing the idea with my husband eventually and he help me refine the storyline and also made me go back and re-write the story in third person instead of first. The first five chapters took me 2 1/2 months to write, but after talking it over with him and writing out a plan, it just started to flow. The other 30 chapters only took 4 weeks!

I haven’t really had to deal with that yet. I generally go back and read at least parts of the previous chapter just to re-orient myself with where I am and then it just flows.

No set hours! I can write whatever I want and have the time.

Just write it! Worry about covers and marketing and all that after you know you can write the story. Publishing is easier than it seemed.

Book two of the Legion Omegas. It follows one of the characters from The Omega Prize and you’ll get peaks of the others from the first book in this one as well.

I’ve been reading my whole life and I kept getting these story ideas in my head that I wished I could read so I finally decided to just write it myself!
