Tom Saric The best thing that I've found has helped my productivity is writing my first drafts longhand. I only move forward and I never go back and read what I wrote the day before. It helps eliminate my inner critic. I found that when I wrote on a word processor, I would constantly be going back to what I wrote, cringing and then reworking and reworking even though it was still the first draft.

The other thing I remind myself is that writing is a craft and that I will get better over time. I remind myself that the book I am writing now will not be the best book I ever write. It shouldn't be as long as I am learning and developing as a writer.
Tom Saric I'm currently working on a sequel to Indicted, the second Robert Braun novel. It takes place several years after Indicted, and Braun is now working independently as a bounty hunter searching for fugitive war criminals around the globe.

He's approached by a member of a clandestine organization to help find a terrorist who is believed to be planning a attack on Western soil. His search takes him back to the Balkans - through Bosnia and Croatia - and through Europe. The stakes are high, and Braun's own past is called into question.

Nothing is as it seems.
