Ron Samul I don't believe in writer's block. It simply means I am not ready to write that novel or story yet. Writing novels and being part of an MFA program taught me that in order to write well, you have to sit down and write all the time - even when it doesn't feel good.

Ron Samul I like to hear strange and confusing stories. I am inspired by books that don't come easy but have a lot of depth and vision in them. I love reading and book and realizing that I am really not reading anymore, but thinking about what I want to write. That is an important shift.
Ron Samul This came from a futuristic idea about being guilty of a crime but not knowing I committed the crime. In the end, the novel fell into the past in a remote place where the community was small, and every social implication means so much to everyone.
