I have to step away for a while. It may be a couple of hours or a couple of weeks. It's almost as if my brain has to reboot after a long time writing. I find when I'm day dreaming, doing something completely mundane, the spark of imagination strikes again and have to I dash for a pen and paper to scribble down the idea before it fades.

The freedom to change anything you want with a few taps of a keyboard. When I first started writing I would often think "Oh, it'd be good if this happened." I would then quickly realise "That can happen, it's up to me."
Being able to craft worlds and mould characters into whatever you wish is a wonderful feeling.
