Ron DeFore I don't actively do anything to get inspired. The mood to write comes and goes. When it's there, I write.
Ron DeFore I don't plan to write another book, at least at this time. The highlights of my life and my Dad's are all wrapped into "Growing Up in Disneyland." There's no other topic that would get me writing another book. Now, in Fantasyland where this book might sell a million copies and have readers clamoring for more I could definitely get into writing Part II because there's plenty of fascinating real-life stories remaining!

Ron DeFore Writing is the most effective way to communicate precisely. When we tell a story verbally if typically is not told with enough detail and sometimes not in the right sequence. Writing also allows you to continually polish and tweak what you've already written to get it just right.
Ron DeFore I was fortunate to have a long lead time before publications date - a year and a half. So, I only wrote when I was in the mood. I could go a couple days without writing but when I got into it I sometimes went straight from morning till midnight.
