Sarah's dog was adopted by her then boyfriend, who had his own dogs that had grown close to hers. I know that her dog was pretty traumatized after her death but my understanding was that he liked the boyfriend and was bonded to him, I am not in touch with him anymore but I hope her dog is okay.
