Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Louise Blocker Concerned that my grandson's classroom instruction appeared not to have adequately presented the role of slavery in the making of our country, I decided to write this book to fully address the issues couched in two questions he posed at the age of eight--one about slavery, the other about my childhood.
