L.A. Smith Being blessed with a deep intuitive sense, on twenty or more occasions I had very vivid nightmares of my son-in-law knocking at my door to tell me my daughter had died of an overdose. On December 1, 2017 at 7 am he did, and it was so much like these recurring dreams, I kept waiting to wake up unable to unleash the pain of the loss.
L.A. Smith I would go to the island in Island Jet 370. The characters in this book rely on one another and have learned the art of survival. They are past their need for so many material items and have found happiness. I would enjoy nature's unspoiled beauty.
L.A. Smith Heaven Is For Real by Lynn Vincent and Todd Burpo
L.A. Smith On December 1, 2017, my 32 year old daughter died from an opiod addiction. Soon after, a friend seeing me crying at work suggested I write a book to calm my nerves. She suggested I pick a topic I was interested in, research it and write a book. The topic needed to be totally unrelated to my life, offering an escape from my torturing thoughts. It worked as a medication free escape into my own sort of virtual reality.
L.A. Smith Believe in yourself. Realize people like different things and as you put your work out for people to judge, there's bound to be resistance at some point. Explore other options when you feel stuck in the mud. If you start out believing in yourself, don't stop. If it's meant to be, you will find the right way.
L.A. Smith Having an emotional outlet. As I wrote, I began to realize the text written on any given day seemed to reflect the mood of the day.
L.A. Smith I would pray for guidance and sleep on it. My best ideas hit in the early morning. So far the good Lord has made all possible.
L.A. Smith Having been interested in disappearances of passenger jets like the Maylasia Flight, I researched the subject and let my imagination run wild.
