There are not plans for a second volume at this time but if enough people were to ask for it, I would love to do so. Unfortunately, we could have predicted so many of the problems we have experienced over the past 18 months by simply looking back at the history of vaccines (and the parallel rise of anti-vaccine movements.

We have all seen commercials on television for new cancer therapies and have heard stories, such as the seemingly miraculous cure of President Jimmy Carter's "incurable" melanoma. Having worked on these treatments, which harness the power of the immune system, I felt it was time to convey the history of these remarkable new medicines.
