Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
J.D. Groom Envy came to me one winter evening after a NaNoWriMo write in. I was stood on the train station platform and really took notice of the tall towers in the city centre with their bright shining lights. By the time I sat on the train and dug out my notebook, most of the plot had come together.

What are you currently working on?
J.D. Groom I have a few projects on the go.
I have a Young Adult fantasy series that I am desperate to finish, along with a New Adult novel with more of a dark romance twist.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
J.D. Groom Touch wood, I don't really suffer with writer's block. If I am struggling in a particular scene, if I've been writing for a while, I take a break or move onto another scene.
