Hmm. That's a tough one. I guess I would travel to The Great Tree of Avalon, (By T.A. Baron), which was a favorite of my youth. It seemed like such a magical place. I would venture from root to root to see all the many colorful worlds there.

I'm almost finished the Starbound Series, by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, and loving it. YA Sci-Fi is my new favorite genre.

I used to live in a small northern Canadian community. I am drawing most of my inspiration from that experience, and of course my late Grandmother Tena's ghost stories. Her stories used to scare the hell out of me, but it is where my love for the genre began.
