Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Kate Brumby Poetry of the Sole documents my reflections during March 2020. I share my thoughts and responses prior to and during the onset of Lockdown. Alongside daily reflections, poetry, photographs (by Susan Williams) and quotes from the Persian Poet Rumi invite the Reader to walk alongside me as I begin to train as a Methodist Local Preacher

What are you currently working on?
Kate Brumby I am currently putting together an anthology of short stories, 5 small poetry books in collaboration with a Photographer, and a children's book in collaboration with an Illustrator.

How do you get inspired to write?
Kate Brumby I write about things that happen, things I see, hear, touch, feel, taste - life inspires me daily to write poetry.
I am quickly and easily inspired - happy to respond to challenges from others to write spontaneously about most subjects and themes.
