The reason I write is to create engaging stories which describe the future of health. My fiction writing explores the science of the mind, especially the link between meditation, lucid dreaming, and comas. My non-fiction writing and podcasting explores the impact of technology on global healthcare, from digital health to better health system policies and design.
In 2021, I'm polishing and seeking a literary agent for my 2nd novel Fractured. I'm also working on a non-fiction book on healthcare which builds on a white paper published by FutureProofing Healthcare on a Vision for AsiaPacific in 2050.

From the time I was a kid, I always had fantastical dreams. From space travel to flying, lucid dreaming experiences were my normal when I slept. As I got older, I started logging my dreams, and when I dreamt the end of my first book Comatose, I knew I wanted to write this story.
Through lucid dreaming, my mind creates the plot, characters, and key scenes. It helps to keep my life grounded in good sleep, which helps both me continue to lucid dream regularly.
