Prevention is the best medicine. I have to have enough energy, mental space, and time to create. I'm an early riser, so my best writing happens before the sun comes up. I work full time, so writing on the weekends is great too if I am uninterrupted. Distraction is my enemy. Once I get in a groove I can't stop writing. If I have writer's block, I just walk away.
