Although Mark Twain said, “Truth is stranger than fiction, because fiction has to be possible and truth doesn’t.” To me life is stranger than fiction.
I can’t say that there is any mystery in my own life that could be a plot for a book, rather many scenes that have been full of mystery, suspense, drama, romance and comedy. I have often thought that my entire life would make a great story, one filled with many different people, places and storylines.
If you would have told me years ago that this is how the story of my life would be lived out, I wouldn’t have believed you. Life is full of trials and tribulation where there is always another plot line left in our stories. It’s full of twists and turns that bring about what seems to be impossible. Life is a place of hope, love and possibilities, a place where purpose is uncovered, and where broken people and relationships are mended. Each new day we turn a page and live out the plot lines that the story of our life narrates.

I can only pick one? That is actually a tough one for me. There are so many books I’ve read with so many interesting places and people, that I can’t imagine just having to choose one. But, since I can only choose one, I would pick Middle-Earth from Lord of the Rings where I could live in a Hobbit house on a lush pasture in the Shire, and visit the elves in Rivendell. I don’t believe I would visit Mordor while. Middle-Earth seems to be full of natural beauty and stunning landscapes. Of course, while I was there I would be part of the Fellowship and enjoy all of our adventures. If I never find my way to Middle-Earth I suppose I could always visit New Zealand where the movie was filmed.
