Erik Edwards I would have to say that I enjoy painting a picture for the reader. Creating something from nothing is something I've always loved to do. I went to school for Radio/TV Broadcasting and fell for the video aspect of it. I made movies with our camcorder (PG-13 type, no hidden camera's in my bedroom) when I was a teenager. I tried writing then as well, but I didn't have the patience for it.
Erik Edwards Personally, sometimes I didn’t feel like being creative. I wanted to be entertained myself. But, I would make myself at least get one page done. If it sucked, I would go back and redo it later.

My advise is to write whatever comes to mind at the time. You might just stumble onto something great.
Erik Edwards Just start it. It may not be your best work at first, but writing is a series of corrections, rewrites, and changes as it evolves.

If you don’t start somewhere, you’ll never get anywhere. Also, be patient. Writing, especially a novel, is a long process. Take small steps and eventually you’ll get where you’d like to be.
Erik Edwards Currently I’m in preflight on a new story. While I’m not ready to announce the title, I will say I have most of the plot worked out in my head. It’s a subject that’s also very personal to me, but not based on my life this time.
Erik Edwards It’s based on my first love and the trials I had to overcome afterward.
