Pete Havel I walk away for a day and get back to it. I write through an outline, so my 'writer's block' is usually not an actual block, but actually exhaustion, avoidance, a good game being on TV, or the smell of pizza in the house!
Pete Havel This is easy. Impacting lives for the better. The email messages, the phone calls and the conversations I have had with people who have read 'The Arsonist in the Office' or heard me speak about the book make all the time I spent compiling the book so worthwhile. When you can impact a complete stranger's life simply by sharing your experiences and your passion, you just can't beat it.
Pete Havel Begin with writing about what you have a passion for. Start by sketching out an outline, then fill in the blanks. From that outline, your entire book will begin to emerge.
Pete Havel I'm busy with mulling a few new projects in my mind. I have several other books in mind...all of them focused on improving lives through easy steps that sometimes don't seem too easy.
Pete Havel I just do it! When you have an important message to tell, you simply find the time, the motivation and the vehicle through which to write it. I love to share my thoughts on how life can get better for people if they find answers and act.
Pete Havel I had an extraordinary and horrifying experience in a previous job that made me realize that I had learned lessons and gained knowledge that other people need to have. There are destructive people in organizations that create havoc every day for people and for productivity. I provide tactics that everyone in an organization can use to protect what's important. Through telling my story, I can change lives, cultures and companies for the better.
