I toyed around with an idea I had a while back, but I don't think it's a good idea to share right now. It needs some work. But, maybe someday.

Take the time you need to build a good foundation. Don't just dive into that first chapter because you have a good scene in your head. You need to know your characters because if you don't the reader will be able to tell.

I think I love all of them in their own way. I think write now, my answer would be Connor from On the Bones of a Queen, but yesterday it was Taylor, and a couple of weeks ago it was Ben from We are the Hunted.

To be honest, I haven't been reading much this year, but back in January, I read the second book in Sarah J Maas's Crescent City series, and it was great! I read the Heartstopper books which were amazing as well.

Everything! I love pop mostly, but I listen to bits of every genre. I really love Carly Rae Jepsen and Taylor Swift. I also love Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Adele, and so many other fantastic artists.

Never give up. I have around 50 unfinished manuscripts because I always give up on stuff and start over with something new. I’ve just recently started going back to finish those. You started that book for a reason, don’t forget that.

I name a lot of my chapters/novels after songs. I’m really big into symbolic meaning. So if I’m writing something that is inspired by a song/album, I’ll play that music while writing.

I wanted to write something that tells stories that real people are going through. I was inspired by a TV show called Degrassi. They tell all of these important stories that I feel people need to know. I want to tell stories that would have helped me as a teen, stories that could help people now.
