GranRan The Dark Wraiths attacked in the dead of night, seeking young Lord Daren, first born to King Uhsala, but Fate barred their path with the half-drunk knight Salem and his mighty sword, "Ghost-Slayer." He destroyed the wraiths and brought peace to the kingdom.
GranRan I get inspired by those around me and the lives they live. I try to inspire others like my mother inspires me. She inspired me at an early age to be creative. And she continues to inspire me so I can inspire my grandchildren. (that's why she's seen my master plan for Fairytale Land).
GranRan Being about to create something from my imagination is the best thing about being a writer for me. I've imagined worlds and wrote about those worlds because I wanted to know about them, I cared about them. I've felt as if I've lived in those worlds because of my imagination. I've gained my imagination from reading, reading, reading. I read until I saw or imagined worlds created by other writers such as H. G. Wells, Louis L Amour, and Edgar Rice Burroughs. You can too. Go imagine a writer's world today!
GranRan Right now I'm promoting my new book, "The Magical Mensicus." I'm also working on a collection of stories titled, "The eSmith Short Tales: Fables and Stories from Fairytale Land." I'm hoping to have this collection available in early November, if things go well. See you next week
GranRan Read everything while asking why. And remember: I read so I can imagine...
GranRan I often work on poetry in the morning to get past my writer's block. I've found that a poem will start my creativity flowing and then I move onto my fairy tales or fiction.
