Right now, I am working on the revision of a four-part paranormal speculative fiction series tentatively called "Unfree World." The premise is that angels have invaded Earth in 1993, fundamentally changing how global society works. There is a rebellion of fallen angels, humans and angel/human hybrids known as nephilim which exists in pockets across the world. The first book focuses on the enclave of the resistance in Marquette, Michigan and the neighboring K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, which became an Angelic Forces base in 1993.

It depends on how you define "nature." I think someone can change their outlook, their social skills, their coping mechanisms without changing their basic, fundamental nature. Someone who has a religious conversion, for example, still has the same basic nature as before their conversion. They simply filter that nature through a different lens of morals and beliefs than before. Short of massive, catastrophic physical trauma, I don't think many things allow for a true change in the nature of people.
