well, writing to me is what meditation or exercise is to others. i write for myself and not for others. that is my biggest inspiration i feel. i write what appeals to me, what makes me happy and i do not wish to alter my writing to suit a particular audience or a reader category. things, people and events around me inspire me to write, the day to day trivialities of our lives which may be just another incident for someone becomes a story for me. i am the kind of writer who is hugely inspired by real life happenings around me and mostly what i feel or go through.

true, many a times i am faced with a creative mental block as it is said a writer's block. the best way to deal with it is to just go with the flow and to give myself some off time. there are days when i just want to read and read and then there are weeks when i do not touch a book altogether. similarly, there are times of the day specially mornings and nights when i have some free space of mind to pen down my thoughts. and then there are days altogether when we are so occupied with personal and official duties that the mind is totally exhausted. but i never give up and i believe in myself that after some off-time, i will be back and would write better than before.
so the key is perseverence and patience

As destiny would have it, I used to pen down few of my internship experiences during my law college days wherein I interned under various lawyers, organisations etc. Subsequently during my first job I used to visit courts on a daily basis and the proceedings, the happenings around me used to fascinate me and challenge me every single day. this was when i decided to write few short stories based on true incidents related to the legal profession. I felt it would be something different as most of us are wary of the courts and do not want to mess with the law in any way. I believe this book would appeal to not just those who are a part of the legal fraternity but also to those who know little about the law and would provide a fresh perspective to this profession as well.

The best thing or most beautiful thing about being a writer is that it is highly intellectually and emotionally satisfying and gratifying. To be able to put your feelings, thoughts, ideas and emotions on paper with the power of words is something which gives me atleast immense happiness. Almost all of us are thinking all the time and have multiple thoughts in our head but only a few out there are able to convert those thoughts into words. To be able to creatively express yourself is the biggest gift one can give to oneself. It is a way for me to connect with myself, my heart mind and soul and to look within .

Well right now I am a budding author myself so I feel I am not the right person to advise future authors but I only feel one should write from the heart and have their own way and style of writing not aimed at imitating anyone at all. We should write what we feel gives us happiness and what we feel would connect with at least some of the readers out there .
