Sadie Ryan Weirdly, I eat chocolate. I know that sounds batty, but it really helps me think and solve problems. I don't get real writer's block because I'm in control of my characters so if they hit a brick wall. I move the wall and put something else there. Chatting with my boyfriend helps a lot too. Sometimes you can be too close to the story to see it clearly.
Sadie Ryan Letting your imagination go crazy. I love that. Controlling your characters and putting them in situations only you can get them out of. Then I love seeing my book in print and knowing others are going to read what goes on inside my crazy head. Scary and daunting.
Sadie Ryan Don't give up - ever. It's taken me 10 years to get published. It takes a long time to learn the craft. Some authors are very lucky and do it quickly. I wasn’t one of them. The rejections get you down, I know it. But because I love writing I carried on. I still can't believe it's happening for me. I just hope I get to carry on doing it for a very long time. Read a lot and find your own voice. It's always there don't be afraid of letting it out.
Sadie Ryan I'm working on my third book which is a little different from my others, but not too much so (I don't want to give anything away it's still WIP) I hope you all love it when it comes out.
Sadie Ryan I love writing so I don't need inspiration. I always want to be writing and I have so much going on inside my head with characters that it has to come out one way or another. Chocolate helps and lots of coffee.
Sadie Ryan On a weekend away in London. I'm always thinking up plots. I usually bounce ideas off my boyfriend. When I find one, I find intriguing I begin to develop it in my head. It makes me very boring then because I tend to vanish inside with my thoughts.
