Jane Ryan I'm currently writing book 2 of the Garda Detective Bridget Harney series, out in March 2020.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jane Ryan I use free writing to write through it, which may sound counter-intuitive and I certainly don't get gold when I get writer's block, but if I take the pressure of myself to write something 'good' and just let it flow, I find it helps. And I read, sometimes you just can't force it, but I find a regular writing schedule helps too.
