Just sit down and start. It is not easy. I had to deal with imposter syndrome. Also, the perfection monster was constantly and still is whispering in my ear. It takes practice and perseverance.

When we completed my she shed/ vintage camper renovation in 2018, I thought what a fun children's book this would make. Telling the story of Beatrice's rescue as a crumbling old camper that no one used, to a beautiful camper that becomes once again useful and loved and ready for her next step in life. It reminded me of myself at midlife. How I was brought back to life after my first trip to Paris. It was a story I felt children could relate to and would think was fun. My goal is to spark a wanderlust in young minds by sharing Beatrice's adventures with a young audience.

The best thing about being a writer is to be able to share a little bit of my world with my readers. I love to be able to share my love of travel and how it has empowered me to become the person I am meant to be.
