Tony Saunders Like all good ideas, they just pop into my head when out with my dog having a ramble through quiet woodland or in my studio when I'm working on my potters wheel. Potting tends to be a self absorbing hobby but gives loads of time for thinking and dreaming up idea's for all sorts of things like a new shape for mug, a new recipe for a glaze or a new plotline for a book.
The worst thing is sitting down at a computer with no idea where a plot line is going.
Tony Saunders I currently have two books with my editor which I should get back during the middle of July.
The first book is a short story called the Orrappa (An alien species). The book is the prequel to TRIBE EARTH book 1. It explains how the Orrappa discovered planet Earth. I plan to give this book away for free in Kindle eBook format.
The second book is a full length novel called MIXED SPECIES and is the continuation of Tribe Earth and the exploration of space. I am very excited about the idea's in this book and hope they come as an unexpected surprise to readers.
Tony Saunders Once I have what I think is a good idea for a story, I get up around 5 am and start writing, fleshing out the idea as I go. In the evening I go back to it, read through it all cutting out the rubbish. Then a bit more writing and so on.
Tony Saunders Don't ask any family or friends to be beta readers.
Tony Saunders Go for a walk with my dog and run a few idea's through my head.
