Nearly all of my inspiration sprouts from my fascination of the living machines that are animals. There’s always something new to learn about how they work, so why not delve in? And applying my learning to dragons is pure fun.

In eighth grade, each person in my class got to do an end-of-the-year Independent Project. You could do it on whatever you wanted; one classmate did how marshmallows are made, another beta fish care. I did dragon anatomy, and then expanded on it in high school, eventually turning it into a book.

Currently, I am busy marketing “Theoretical Dragon Anatomy.”

To write whatever they are passionate about, and not be afraid of rejection or others’ judgement.

For me, writer’s block is more of an idea block, so by sketching whatever comes to mind I can break right through. Research helps after that, but it’s all in not putting the pencil down.
