Hearing from readers who enjoyed the book, stories, illustrations, etc. Those moments are great. It's surreal, you spend all this time working on something then it goes out into the world. When people reach out to you and tell you that these stories made them laugh...that's the best thing about writing.

A few things actually. First, I'm working some storytelling video content for a handful of clients—that's my day job. Second, I'm working on some fun and unexpected promotional content for my book, Hot Dog People. Third, some DIY projects at my house. And I'm in the early stages of working on another book.

I try to use writing as a form of relaxation. It's calming to sit down, put some music on and write...after the kids are in bed.

My kids. Like most kids, the three of them are so full of energy and creativity. I started writing down something they did or said at the end of each day and eventually, those stories became this book.
