To me, The Landlady strikes the 'sub' chord in me as powerfully if not more, than The Good Wife. However in comparison, it was only getting about 25% of the activity on Amazon as TGW, if that. Despite using the same SEO words and equal effort to promote it on Twitter it failed to shine in the way I'd hoped.
I'm new at this and still trying to 'find my groove'. I had thought having a more subtle and 'classy' cover could be part of 'my brand', and in conjunction with the SEO words allow my books to be successful. I was wrong.
The Good Wife is a title the strikes at the heart of anyone who likes the idea of a 'good girl' becoming strict and dominant. It falls in line with the whole 'loving wives' chastity theme and almost sells itself.
So with that, I figured I can't be the only one who has ever imagined a dominant landlady and as such am hoping that this new title, and sexy cover will have a similar result.
Time will tell, but for now, get the defibrillator paddles out because this baby deserves a 2nd chance!

The beautiful thing about sharing this passion with my wife is that she gets as excited as I do about a good story line. Many moments, driving, grocery store line up, cooking supper for the kids, are spent trash talking random naughty thoughts and what 'could be'.
