Clyde Davis Ironically, by writing. Not necessarily on the piece that is suffering from the block, but removing myself from that tar pit - and just writing something that allows me to regain a flow. It's normally a short piece that carries no weight, expectation or pressure behind it. And when that fails, I read or listen to music. Those are normally two powerful stimuli to trigger creativity.
