Writer's block is tough. I deal with it by walking away from the writing, doing something to completely disconnect me. I will come back to it when my mind has been freed from the stress of not being able to write.

The best thing about being a writer is evoking emotion or thought in a reader. Receiving messages from readers about how I inspire them truly brings me immense joy. Knowing I am making a difference in someone's day, is extremely rewarding.

Whether a writer, actor, artist we are exposed to judgment and criticism which is not always constructive or nice. I'd say just write without thought to what others might say. Writing is subjective, one person might read your story, manuscript or poem without connection. Someone else will feel they relate to your words in an impactful way. So, I'd say, don't overthink - just start writing.

Part memoir, part prescriptive nonfiction, A Journey to Finding the Best Self combines personal narrative and practical advice to show how it is possible to find a place of acceptance and joy after losing a marriage. The word “divorce” itself has a negative connotation, and rightly so. It can be one of the most painful life-changing events in anyone’s life. An emotionally crippling event for many women, initially it was nothing less than devastating for me. However, it has been the most significant growth experience in my life. This is the story of how a woman comes out on the other side of pain much stronger and more beautiful.
