This is a weak point for me. I mostly write in series format. My new policy is to release the first and second books in a series together. You get much higher pull through that way. I advertise the first book in each series, spending nearly the first book’s entire revenue. For the newer books, I add content to the A+ portion of my product page. When new books come out in a series, I run a promotion on the first book. And I take every opportunity Amazon gives me to put the first book in a series in the Amazon Reading program. You can volunteer for Amazon Reading, but it is by invitation only.
Most people will tell you that you need a social media presence, a website, etc. I don’t do that. The thing the sells best for me is new releases. Every new release lifts the sales of the entire library. So, as an independent, my time is best spent writing.

Vergence is on the shelf at the moment, about 20% complete. The puzzle at the center of the story is a phenomenon known to the Ancients as a vergence, which poses a threat to all organic life. I was excited about this concept and announced it before I realized my solution to the puzzle wasn’t good enough.
Not to worry. I will solve the puzzle. But until then, I won’t have a target publication date.
At least two books are ahead of it in the publication queue, the first of which is about to go to editorial review. Its target publication date is early in 2023.

According to my control panel on Amazon, this book is available in Australia, eBook and paperback.
You should be able to see it here on Goodreads

I hope that helps.
Thanks for reading.

I have several projects underway. The most exciting at the moment is a new audio book version of The Rise of Daan. I've partnered with voice over artist, Trevor O'Hare, on this project. Trevor is an amazingly talented reader and producer, And he truly has Jared's voice, so is perfect for this book. We're targeting release later this month.
Other projects include Book 2 in the Chronicles of Daan series, tentatively entitled, Prophet. And the first book, Vergence, in the long promised Transcendence series. Transcendence is a sequel to my first series: Ascendency. It will bring back favorite characters in the series, who will take on new challenges in faraway places.
