The last year of my life has been about bringing this book and a baby to life. My son is now 3 months old and my book launches on Feb. 11th! This is a really exciting time as a mother and for my book—it’s been a 5 year journey of writing, proposals, finding a publisher, preparing for launch. My book is finally hitting the shelf! What an incredible feeling to hold it in my hands.

I’d been in the jungle for a decade when I began to notice a trend. Many adventurous guests staying at my jungle lodge kept approaching me with their own wild business ideas. They wanted to know how I’d created my jungle lodge and what I wished I had known when I was first getting started blazing my trail as an entrepreneur. So I began to write. It started out as a reflection on my jungle adventure, which evolved into a how-to for Wildpreneurs! As I wrote, I also realized that there are Wildpreneurs everywhere that had much wisdom and inspiration to share. I tapped into their experience and incorporated those interviews into my book as well.
