Sarit Gradwohl I have many sources of inspiration, from a scent that sparks a memory or a feeling I want to pass on to others. It can be a dream I dreamt, people I observed on the street, or a book, movie, or song. Sometimes it takes a bit more work to get inspired, requiring concentration and deep introspection.
Sarit Gradwohl I've been writing since I was a kid, and when my grandfather grew sick my cousin suggested that I write about his life story. I interviewed my grandparents, researched the history of Yemenite Jewry, and wrote this book.
